Bespoke Sessions
Whether you are a nervous rider, bold and confident, or have a competitive streak, whether you prefer ridden work or in-hand (or both!), your sessions will be tailored around you and your horse.

By the very nature of RWYM, the horse-human relationship and equine welfare are always at heart.
Confidence building, skill developing balanced rider biomechanics alongside ethical horse training.
The horse’s welfare is at heart, No shortcuts, No gadgets, No quick wins, purely building good horse - human relationships.

Because Nicky & Lynda believe that horses' bodies should be cared for, I am delighted to have been invited to give talks and demonstrations during the weekend, to help understand biomechanics through the musculoskeletal lens.

Event Programme
Thursday afternoon
Settle your horse in and meet the other course participants.
There will be a classroom-based workshop to introduce you to the concept of RWYM, and if you are already aware of the principles you will be able to discuss your goals further with the coaches, Kate will introduce you to her horse massage and therapy work.
Sunday
Should you wish, you will have the opportunity to ride a dressage test and have an individual coaching session making improvements on that test, or you can continue practicing and developing your new skills and newly found biomechanical pieces.
You can choose to do some desensitisation work, spook busting and agility. You will also have the opportunity to have your horse weighed, body conditioned scored and discuss a feeding and nutrition programme with Kate Morgan, an independent adviser and owner of Equiweigh.
Sunday morning’s session will be followed by lunch and a wash-up workshop before you head home.
If you have the inclination and want to have a little hack out we can walk out down some quiet country lanes and in about 25 minutes be at the local pub where the horses can play in the river.
Friday morning
You will have an individual hour’s lessons with either Lynda or Nicky. The content will be tailored to you and your horses’ individual needs.
In the afternoon after lunch
You will have an hour’s group (no more than 3) lesson with both coaches, this can be tailored to your choice and include groundwork, pole work, or consolidation of the mornings learning with a continuation of your flatwork.
Group lecture demonstration with Kate Thornton.
The day will conclude with a themed practical workshop.

In the evenings, you can relax and enjoy a swim, use the games room or just chill out in the barn.
